They are seeking a highly-motivated Microbiology Technician to join their Quality Assurance Team, responsible for performing daily environmental monitoring activities and ensuring compliance with established procedures.

Responsibilities
Plans and implements daily viable and non-viable environmental testing in the controlled environments
Performs duties in accordance with established policies & procedures for the storage, testing & handling of microbial test samples
Performs record keeping of test results and movement of testing samples in accordance with established procedures
Assists with data entry and trend analysis activities
Observes facility clean room personnel and performs monthly audits to assure compliance to company standard operating procedures and cGMP requirements
Work with Quality Director, Microbiologist, and EM/Microbiology Supervisor, and any other personnel needed to ensure quality system and environmental monitoring programs are implemented completely
Perform document and process reviews as assigned by management
Perform in-process inspection activities associated with drug product manufacturing and batch record documentation
Assist with Growth Promotion testing of incoming media plates and post fill media fills
Perform incoming inspections of newly received media plates
Ability to use metrology equipment (i.e. calipers, analytical balance, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Highschool diploma/GED equivalent required
1-2 years' experience working in a Quality setting
Basic computer skills required, including experience using Microsoft Office
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Principles of mathematical and statistical computations
Preferred
Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in science related field
Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
