Regional Health Services Specialist - New Development

Oakmont Management Group is a recognized leader in the senior living industry that manages a portfolio of communities under the Oakmont Senior Living and Ivy Living brands. The Regional Health Services Specialist is a licensed nurse responsible for managing the day-to-day healthcare operations of the assigned communities to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met and supervises licensed nurses and other direct care team members within the community.

Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day healthcare operations of the assigned communities to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met
Ensuring residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensure quality care as resident’s healthcare needs change
Supervising licensed nurses and other direct care team members within the community
Strengthening clinical processes within the community until a replacement is identified, then supporting newly assigned Health Services Director
Traveling within the organization to support the management of vacant positions, startup communities, vacations/leave of absences, etc

Qualification

California LVN licenseResidential Care Facility experienceSupervisory experienceTeaching/training staffCOVID-19 vaccination

Required

Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse holding a valid California nursing license in good standing
Able to effectively teach/train staff
Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test within 72 hours of start date
All new team members must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption due to Qualifying Medical Reasons or Religious Beliefs subject to legal requirements

Preferred

Four (4) years' experience working in Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
Three (3) year experience supervising and managing employees
Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) license
