Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and assigned security-related procedures, including emergency response activities when appropriate
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology-focused location, including interior spaces, common areas, and the perimeter, noting hazards and irregular activity and reporting concerns
Monitor access points and controlled areas, help to verify authorization for entry, and assist with visitor check-in processes in accordance with site requirements
Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate notifications to site contacts and/or local responders as directed
Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and logs, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership as needed
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
