Research Assistant | Laboratory of Neural Dynamics and Cognition
The Rockefeller University is focused on understanding memory processing in the mammalian brain through research in the Laboratory of Neural Dynamics and Cognition. The Research Assistant will support planning, executing, and analyzing mouse experiments, as well as managing the mouse colony.
Education
Responsibilities
Support in planning, executing, and analyzing data from mouse experiments, including surgical preparations, in vivo brain recording, and behavior, as well as ex vivo tissue analysis
Support in mouse colony management (setting up breedings, weaning and tissue collection for genotyping)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, molecular biology, or similar academic discipline
Previous experience working with rodent models
Minimum 2-year commitment
Preferred
Bench work experience
