They are seeking a Product Engineer III for Wesanco-ZSI to play a key role in the development, maintenance, and support of their product portfolio, collaborating across various teams to enhance product design and functionality.

Responsibilities
Update and maintain the product drawing and 3D model library
Support made-to-order (MTO) and custom product requests, providing timely and accurate solutions
Address and resolve technical inquiries from both internal stakeholders and external customers
Assist with third-party product qualifications and industry standards compliance (MSS, MFMA, UL, etc.)
Create / maintain product test procedures. Perform tests on products and analyze test results
Maintain and update Bills of Material (BOM) and product routings to ensure accurate documentation
Contribute to product improvement initiatives by leveraging engineering analysis and customer feedback
Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to optimize product design for cost, manufacturability, and quality
Travel to manufacturing locations working with operations teams to support new product & MTO custom product launches
Travel to key customers to understand issues, solve problems and understand opportunities for new products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical discipline strongly preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred); understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) a plus
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, data analytics tools, and project management software
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
Excellent communication skills to work directly with customers to understand questions and effectively communicate solutions
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of production processes, materials, and quality systems
