InternAcadia Healthcare is seeking therapist interns for their facility, The Refuge, a Healing Place. Interns will work under the supervision of clinical staff to provide therapy and assist in treatment planning for patients.

Responsibilities
Assist clinicians in developing and implementing treatment plans with goals that are measurable, attainable and ensure success based upon patient’s clinical assessments and face-to-face interviews
Assist with regular patient reviews and analysis of patient’s progress or setbacks and make adjustment recommendations to support successful transitions
Complete clinical documentation under the guidance of a licensed clinician
Advanced students may have the opportunity to work with patients doing assessments, crisis interventions and create/run their own groups
Minimum time commitment is as required by the Intern/student to fulfill educational requirements
Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Working towards a Master's Degree in Social Work or related counseling field from an accredited Master's program
Currently eligible for supervision leading to LCSW, LPC or LCPC
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
Licensure or certification for counseling, as required by the state in which the facility operates
Preferred
First aid may be required based on state or facility
