Curriculum Coordinator
Columbia University Irving Medical Center's College of Dental Medicine is seeking a Curriculum Coordinator to independently manage the day-to-day operations of assigned didactic and clinical courses. This role serves as a central resource for faculty and students, overseeing scheduling, course logistics, and communication.

Responsibilities
Independently maintain student records and enrollment data in academic and clinical systems
Manage course registration for students
Create comprehensive academic schedules and input all scheduling data into OASIS
Coordinate lecture recording requests (ECHO 360) and support course setup within CourseWorks
Serve as the primary liaison for student–faculty communication on course materials, requirements, scheduling updates, and assignments
Coordinate accommodations for students with special needs or disabilities
Secure instructional spaces and manage logistics for in-person and virtual course activities
Collaborate with faculty and the Center for Education Research and Evaluation to design, administer, and analyze course and faculty/student evaluations in OASIS
Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) efforts
Build and administer quizzes and exams in ExamSoft, ensuring smooth delivery and compliance
Enter grades into CourseWorks and SSOL with independent oversight of accuracy
Support Academic Progress Committees and the Committee on Instruction, including preparing documentation and managing workflows
Draft and send academic progress letters to students
Coordinate academic and clinical training sessions and manage related logistics
Contribute to special projects and additional duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent in education and employment plus three years of experience
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in experience plus 3 years related experience
(2) Two years' experience in administrative support preferably in an academic or nonprofit environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle student information with good judgement
Ability to undertake multiple tasks, set priorities, work independently and meet deadlines reliably
Familiarity with learning management systems and academic databases, e.g. CourseWorks, Examsoft, Oasis
Experience in a dental environment
