Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, noting unusual conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or damage
Monitor gates, access points, and critical areas while performing routine checks of locks, doors, and other assigned points; document findings per post orders
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services and assisting with traffic and scene control as needed
Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to supervision and site leadership per chain of command
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
