Responsibilities
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location
Receive and triage incoming calls, radio traffic, and alarms; dispatch officers and/or resources according to post orders and incident priority
Monitor CCTV, access control, and other security-related systems; document observations and notify appropriate personnel of unusual activity
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate communications with clinical staff and local responders as directed by post orders
Complete incident reports, activity logs, and dispatch records in a timely manner; communicate shift updates and pass-down information to oncoming personnel
Qualification
Required
Be 21+ years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
