Required

Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or a related field with 4 years of experience; Master's degree with 2 years of experience
2 years or more of experimental and/or computational experience in biochemistry related research
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate

Preferred

PhD in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or a related field
Experience in protein biochemistry, and routine biochemical and molecular biology techniques, especially experience with protein purification, protein mass spectrometry, and computational analysis of protein mass spectrometry data

Retirement Plan Eligibility: The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
