Confidential is a fast-growing, private equity–backed organization seeking an Accounting Manager to join its corporate accounting team. This newly created role involves supporting a complex, multi-entity environment and working closely with a Director of Accounting following year-end close.

Marketing & Advertising

Responsibilities

Support and lead components of the month-end close process across multiple legal entities

Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Handle more technical and sophisticated accounting areas, including:

Lease accounting (ASC 842)

Inventory and cost-related accounting matters

Fixed assets and capitalization

Assist with annual financial reporting to lenders and banking partners

Support consolidations across a multi-entity structure

Partner with operations and leadership on accounting issues tied to growth and acquisitions

Identify and drive process improvements in a decentralized, evolving ERP environment

Assist with audit coordination and technical accounting documentation

Help mentor and support senior accountants as the team continues to scale

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA required

4–8+ years of accounting experience

Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts

Comfortable in a fast-paced, private equity–backed environment

Hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to build and improve processes

Preferred

Candidates straight out of industry with strong fundamentals

Public accounting backgrounds (Big 4 or national/regional firms)

Public + industry mix

Manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-based environment strongly preferred
