Responsibilities
Set up and calibrate endless slitting machines according to job specifications and production schedules
Monitor machine operation continuously to ensure accurate slitting and identify any issues or defects
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on slitting equipment to minimize downtime
Inspect slit materials for quality assurance, ensuring dimensions and finishes meet required standards
Maintain detailed production records and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding machine status and production progress
Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience operating slitting or similar industrial machinery
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine machine maintenance
Ability to read and interpret production orders and technical specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in industrial settings
Basic computer skills for logging production data and communicating with team members
Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime if necessary
Certification or training related to machine operation or industrial safety
