Member Services Representative
CASE Credit Union is focused on providing excellent member services, and they are seeking a Member Services Representative to assist members with various transactions and inquiries. This role involves processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, while also promoting Credit Union services to help members achieve financial success.

Responsibilities
Assumes responsibility for the efficient, effective, and accurate performance of MSR I functions
Represents the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner
Receives deposits, loan payments, late payments, payroll starts, stops, and changes
Processes cash advances, gift cards, stamps, cashiers' checks, money orders, stop payments, wires, service center transactions
Disburses cash or check withdrawals
Processes transfers
Verifies transactions. Monitors deposit amounts and examines documents for endorsement and negotiability. Detects and resolves discrepancies promptly
Trial balances throughout the day. Balances daily transactions and verifies totals. Investigates and resolves out-of-balance conditions
Ability to open and close branch locations
Following all procedures for branch security and safety
Assumes responsibility for the effective and professional performance of member service functions
Presents and explains Credit Union services and products to members and assists in meeting their financial needs. Orders checks for members' accounts. Receives payroll deduction and authorization forms
Answers questions and solves problems for members by listening to problems, collecting data, and reporting results to the inquiring member
Performs address changes, name changes, suffix type changes as needed
Keeps members informed of Credit Union services and processes, including types of available accounts, interest and dividend rates, and other related services
Maintains and projects the Credit Union's professional reputation. Maintains privacy of member account information
Actively cross-sells Credit Union products and services
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with other departments and with management
Assists other departments as required
Keeps supervisors informed of activities and of any significant problems or concerns by following the chain of command
Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly
Attends meetings as required
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
Performs drive-up service, verification of ATM envelopes and night drop functions as assigned
Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained
Performs related clerical duties as required
Participate in training activities within the department/branches, as well as some training outside the department. Such training helps to ensure staff compliance with Credit Union policies and state and federal regulations and laws
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent
Good communication skills
Time management
Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including fax, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, and telephone
