Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Backend APIs (REST/gRPC) and Web UIs (Frontend)
Develop performance and load test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript (k6 or similar tools)
Build and manage robust test pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, ensuring seamless integration of automated suites
Deep dive into system logs using ELK (Kibana) and Datadog to validate generated events and identify bottlenecks
Collaborate closely with PMs and the development team to understand design/architecture, translating requirements into robust E2E test cases
Perform defect triage, root cause analysis, and validation, including backend data verification using SQL
Take ownership of release-level quality and ensure test coverage for monthly or milestone-based deliveries
Leverage AI tools to write efficient, modern code and stay ahead of automation trends to refine the DQI lab’s toolset

Required

5+ years of professional experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer, specifically focusing on Cloud APIs and Frontend automation
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong programming fundamentals (Data Structures, OOP)
Ability to write performance test scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript (e.g., K6 or similar tools)
Strong knowledge of Grafana for visualizing metrics and identifying system bottlenecks
Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium for modern web automation
Expertise in REST Assured and JUnit for comprehensive Cloud API testing
Proven experience using ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Datadog, and Grafana for log analysis and performance monitoring
Strong working knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and SQL for data validation
