Facilities & Administrative Services Manager
Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) located in West Valley City, Utah is seeking a skilled and service-oriented, full-time, onsite Facilities & Administrative Services Manager to lead the effective operation of our facilities and administrative support functions. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-quality physical environment while managing essential administrative services, vendor relationships, and a team of support staff.

Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and supervise administrative support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
Oversee the efficient and reliable operation of administrative services such as mail, reception, document digitization, stationery, and office equipment
Develop policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality
Manage office supply and equipment procurement, inventory control, vendor contracts, and building access and security systems, including badge issuance and control
Oversee facilities management, including oversight of building systems such as HVAC, security, fire protection, landscaping, and appliances
Prepare for and execute UHC's relocation from its current location to a leased space, with evolving facilities management responsibilities following the move
Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues, coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors, manage security systems and emergency response protocols, and ensure compliance with OSHA and UOSH requirements, including maintaining health and safety programs and the Emergency Action Plan
Monitor custodial services to ensure cleanliness and adherence to organizational standards
Prepare, track, and manage facilities and administrative budgets
Maintain and negotiate vendor contracts, obtain competitive bids in accordance with procurement policies, and monitor vendor performance while fostering strong professional relationships
Serve as the primary on-call contact for after-hours facility emergencies, ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws, and perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma and at least two years of college coursework or equivalent experience and/or certifications
Minimum of four years of experience in facilities maintenance and administrative management
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word
Capable of using and maintaining basic hand and power tools
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated DIY experience
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
Valid Utah driver's license and eligibility to operate a company vehicle
