Responsibilities
Provide customer service to all visitors, passengers, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and security-related policies for a government location
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned zones, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns through the established chain of command
Monitor entry points and restricted areas, check identification and/or credentials as directed, and help to prevent unauthorized access by following post orders and applicable regulations
Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing direction to the public and coordinating with onsite personnel and/or public agency partners as needed
Complete required activity logs and incident reports, document observations accurately, and communicate key information to supervisors and/or incoming shifts
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Preferred
