Responsibilities
Create, update, and maintain accurate planograms and store schematics using space management software
Execute schematic changes based on category strategies, resets, new item introductions, and discontinuations
Ensure schematics align with company merchandising standards, store layouts, and operational constraints
Maintain version control and documentation for all schematic updates
Validate product dimensions, case pack data, UPCs, and shelf capacities within space management systems
Audit schematics for accuracy, consistency, and compliance prior to release
Troubleshoot and resolve schematic discrepancies reported by stores or field teams
Maintain space management databases and ensure timely updates
Partner with Category Managers, Merchandising, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support category initiatives
Communicate schematic changes clearly to stores, field merchandisers, and implementation teams
Support store inquiries related to planogram execution and layout issues
Coordinate with vendors as needed to verify product specifications or merchandising requirements
Assist with schematic rollouts, resets, remodels, and seasonal transitions
Support compliance tracking and respond to execution feedback from the field
Help identify opportunities to improve space utilization, shop-ability, and operational efficiency
Run reports related to space allocation, SKU counts, and category performance as requested
Identify process improvements to enhance schematic accuracy and execution efficiency
Stay current on space management tools, best practices, and merchandising trends
Assists in preparation of data for publication of order books and other reports used by Operations and Merchandising
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
One to three years of experience in space management, merchandising, retail operations, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
associate or bachelor's degree
