New Jersey Courts is seeking a detailed oriented professional to work as an Administrative Specialist 2 - Confidential in the Support Services Division. The role involves providing quality customer service, coordinating meetings, and managing various administrative tasks to support the division's operations.

Responsibilities
Provide quality customer service to internal staff and court users regarding court rules, directives, resources, Judiciary policies and procedures
Prepare, proofread, and make appropriate edits to reports
Coordinate and schedule meetings, and assemble and disseminate materials for meetings for Supreme Court Committees, internal Conferences and Committees
Coordinate report collection activities of staff for the Assistant Director
Establish and maintain electronic tracking systems for various projects and programs of the Division
Work in the Conference Center two days per week and provide assistance with Fleet Coordinator responsibilities
Interact with jurors by responding to customer requests sent to our electronic mailbox
Recommend improvements in the division's procedures and work processes
Write manuals on internal operational work flows and other materials
Act as a liaison with other divisions regarding the Division’s operational needs
Monitor the Division’s budget, handle purchases of equipment, materials and supplies for the Division
Serve as Staff to the Operations Conference
Other work as assigned to accommodate Support Services workload and organizational needs
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree
Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits
An associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Applicants who are approaching their anticipated graduation date may apply. If selected, the applicant must complete their degree no later than their start date
Degrees conferred outside of the United States must be evaluated by a recognized evaluation service
Driver's License: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position
Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check that will include fingerprinting
In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), the 'New Jersey First Act,' all persons newly hired by the Judiciary within one year must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey
