Engine Aftertreatment Verification Intern
PACCAR Technical Center is seeking a motivated Engine Aftertreatment Verification Intern to support testing, verification, and system integration activities for PACCAR’s advanced engine aftertreatment systems. The role involves collaborating with professionals, executing testing, and analyzing data to validate performance and drive improvements.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with industry professionals on diesel engine aftertreatment verification and integration projects
Execute testing in vehicles and engine test cells to validate aftertreatment system performance
Analyze test data, refine analysis tools, and draw meaningful technical conclusions
Support continuous improvement efforts through test procedure enhancements and documentation updates
Provide recommendations based on test findings to drive next-step decisions
Qualification
Required
Currently in 3rd or 4th year of a bachelor's program (graduating 2026–2027) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Mechatronics), Sciences, or related STEM fields
Basic understanding of diesel exhaust aftertreatment technologies (DOC, DPF, SCR, DEF)
Foundational knowledge of engine control systems and CAN communication networks
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred
Experience with data analysis and scripting (MATLAB/Simulink)
Hands-on experience with data acquisition and calibration tools such as ATI Vision, Vector CANape/CANalyzer, or ETAS INCA
Prior involvement in test planning or experimental data processing
