Responsibilities
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community
Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols of streets, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or lighting concerns for reporting
Monitor and control access at gates and/or entrances by verifying credentials, directing visitors to appropriate locations, and documenting visitor activity per site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with property management and/or local first responders as needed
Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate relevant observations to the next shift and/or Allied Universal management
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
