Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed
Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and directing deliveries and contractors to proper locations
Monitor inbound and outbound traffic in a manufacturing and industrial location, including verifying shipping and receiving paperwork and coordinating with site staff on dock access
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including observing doors, gates, and restricted areas for unusual activity
Qualification
Required
Have 2+ years of security-related experience
Be 21+ years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Alarm panel experience is preferred
Loss prevention experience is preferred
A Guard Card/license is preferred
