Financial Advisory Services Industry Advisor (Wealth Management / Fintech / GTM & Partnerships) for an AI tax planning platform
HIVE TA Technologies Inc. is building an AI-native tax planning platform for CFP® professionals and RIAs. They are seeking an experienced Industry Advisor to guide their go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and product direction in the wealth management and fintech sectors.
Responsibilities
Go-to-market strategy & positioning
Coach on ICP segmentation across CFP®/RIA, Family Office, and wealth management team structures
Validate the highest-converting use cases (e.g., proactive year-round tax planning, client meeting prep, tax-smart withdrawal strategies, charitable giving, equity comp/RSUs, business owner planning)
Help sharpen packaging/pricing, proof points, and sales motion (demo-first vs trial-first; solo advisors vs teams vs enterprise)
Partnerships & distribution
Help Identify and prioritize partnership targets (RIA platforms, TAMPs, custodians, broker-dealers, planning software, CRM/practice management, client portals)
Define partnership models (referral, co-marketing, marketplace listing, integration, enterprise pilot)
Make warm introductions when appropriate and help us navigate partner conversations
Product guidance
Ensure outputs match how advisors deliver advice: structured strategies, client-ready summaries, meeting notes, follow-up tasks, and ongoing monitoring
Advise on must-have workflow requirements (audit trail, assumptions, review steps, team collaboration, export formats, integration priorities)
Provide roadmap input to accelerate adoption in RIA and wealth management environments
Credibility & thought leadership (optional)
Co-create topics for webinars, conference talks, and advisor education
Participate in selected advisor councils or strategic discussions
Qualification
Required
10+ years in wealth management / advisory services and/or fintech serving advisors
Strong understanding of advisor operating models, planning workflows, and the advisor tech stack
Proven experience with GTM, partnerships, product adoption, or platform growth in the advisor ecosystem
Preferred
Leadership experience at or with: RIA aggregators, TAMPs, custodians, planning tech, CRM/practice management vendors, or large RIAs/family offices
Experience launching or scaling integrations / marketplaces / distribution partnerships
Familiarity with compliance expectations and how to package planning insights responsibly (RIA/BD environments)
