Environmental Science Intern
Kimley-Horn is looking for Geology/Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science students to join their Tampa, Florida office. The role involves solving complex problems, assisting project managers, and collaborating across disciplines to produce clients’ visions for the future built environment.

Responsibilities
Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment
Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards
The opportunity to gain knowledge in one or more of the following: site assessment regulations, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, surface water quality regulations, landfills, redevelopment program a plus
Some travel may be required (approximately 10%)
Qualification
Required
In the process of receiving a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Geology, Biology, Environmental Science, or other related majors
Preferred
Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and our client's practices, procedures, and standards
The opportunity to gain knowledge in one or more of the following: site assessment regulations, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, surface water quality regulations, landfills, redevelopment program a plus
