The VISTA Volunteer Program Manager will help build systems for long-term volunteer engagement in environmental education and public health awareness, coordinating recruitment, training, and outreach efforts.

Help build and strengthen systems that support long-term volunteer engagement in environmental education, clean air outreach, and public health awareness
Developing volunteer recruitment pipelines
Coordinating onboarding and training processes
Ensuring that volunteers are equipped to lead or support outreach events and workshops
Create and refine internal systems for tracking volunteer participation and impact
Developing a Volunteer Handbook
Managing appreciation and retention efforts
Working closely with UCM staff and partners to align volunteer work with larger campaign goals
Support systems for recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers engaged in clean air outreach, environmental education, and community events
Refine the Volunteer Handbook
Improve onboarding workflows
Coordinate volunteer recognition strategies
Support the execution of outreach events
Gather volunteer feedback
Help document processes to strengthen long-term sustainability
