Responsibilities
Lead global sourcing strategy and execution for all children’s apparel categories
Manage and mentor one direct report, fostering growth and performance
Optimize supplier base across multiple regions to reduce dependency on China
Partner with factories to improve quality, compliance, pricing, and delivery timelines
Collaborate closely with design, production, and merchandising teams to align sourcing plans with seasonal calendars
Negotiate costs and terms with vendors to ensure margin targets are met
Monitor and analyze global market trends and country-specific developments to mitigate risk and drive innovation
Ensure all sourcing practices comply with ethical and regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
8–10+ years of experience in apparel sourcing, with at least 3 years in childrenswear
Strong vendor management experience with overseas suppliers
Proven ability to manage costs, lead negotiations, and drive sourcing diversification
Experience working closely with production and design teams
Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
Willingness to travel internationally as needed
