Responsibilities
Perform landscaping installation tasks such as planting, pruning, mulching, sod installation, irrigation work, and hardscape assembly
Follow daily instructions from the Project Foreman or Senior Project Foreman to complete all Landscape Technician, Installation duties accurately and efficiently
Assist with loading/unloading materials, tools, and equipment
Safely operate landscaping tools and equipment in alignment with company and manufacturer guidelines
Report equipment concerns to supervisors promptly
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe job site throughout the day
Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety policies
Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
Provide professional on-site customer service as part of your Landscape Technician, Installation responsibilities
Ensure all work meets company quality standards and is completed within expected timeframes
Contribute to improving efficiency and productivity across installation projects
Qualification
Required
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively under supervision
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong commitment to safety and company policies
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and performing manual labor
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently; heavier items assisted or accommodated
Regular use of landscaping tools such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, and shovels
Occasional climbing, ladder use, slopes, or uneven terrain
Outdoor work in variable weather (heat, cold, rain, wind, sun)
Exposure to noise, dust, pollen, and various landscape materials
Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Availability for early start times, overtime, and occasional weekend shifts
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior landscaping or outdoor labor experience
At least 1 year of masonry experience
Valid driver's license
Equipment certifications
Basic knowledge of plants, turf, and landscape materials
