Responsibilities
Partner with product, engineering, compliance, and commercial teams to design, launch, and scale innovative payment, credit, and deposit products
Provide practical, business-focused legal advice, ensuring compliance with U.S. consumer protection laws (UDAAP, TILA, FCRA, TISA, EFTA) while supporting a seamless consumer experience
Counsel on state licensing, money transmission, BNPL, payment schemes, and provider relationships
Provide guidance on fraud, privacy, open banking, data sharing, and other state-specific obligations
Help navigate multi-jurisdictional legal questions
Contribute to scalable processes and documentation for consumer-centric product launches
Qualification
Required
Licensed U.S. attorney
At least 5 years' experience in consumer finance, fintech, payments, or a top law firm
Deep knowledge of U.S. consumer protection laws
Experience advising on consumer-facing products
Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear guidance
Ability to influence cross-functional teams
