Submitting proposed orders
Resolving issues in collaboration with the court, judicial staff, and colleagues
Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
Managing attorneys' time entries
Scheduling and calendaring deadlines
Arranging travel
Registering attorneys for CLE courses
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree with a legal specialization
At least 6 years of experience in legal administrative and technical support
Proficiency in legal office applications
Interpersonal skills
Tact
Diplomacy
Sensitivity to confidential information
Strong customer service skills in a professional environment
Valid State of Florida Driver's License
Superior word-processing skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Strong organizational and writing skills
Preferred
Experience with a document management system
Familiarity with the United States Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida
At least 4 years of experience in legal administrative and technical support (for lower level of Legal Administrative Assistant 3)
