New Grad, Entry LevelKC Store Fixtures is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for shipping and receiving in the warehouse. The role involves maintaining safety, quality, and productivity specifications while managing inventory and ensuring accurate order processing.
Retail
Responsibilities
Shipping and receiving products while reviewing for damages
Accurately verify quantity and descriptions of inventory received from packing lists and purchase order
Accurately label and put away inventory in an orderly manner
Ensure all stock is properly stored
Staging material shipments or customer pick up’s
Utilize company specific software and paperwork to maintain accurate inventory information
Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to process and follow order sequence and adjusting to sequence changes
Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment
Packing materials securely for transit without damage
Process small package and LTL shipments
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting processes
Research and report inventory discrepancies
Meet deadlines with attention to detail while following quality requirements
Maintain a clean work environment and follow housekeeping requirements
Follow company safety policies and procedures
Work independently and as a team
Perform other duties as assigned
Maintain a professional manner
Follow directions provided by Leads, Supervisors, and Management
Qualification
Required
Experience in a warehouse preferred
Experience driving a forklift and/or ability to become certified on a forklift
Experience with a WMS system and scanning technology
Efficient time management skills
Ability to work overtime when required
Attention to detail
Able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds individually
Ability to make repetitive movements, including but not limited to bending and squatting
HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred
