Responsibilities
Work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Analytical teams to understand business processes and planning requirements
Collaborate with the Business Network to develop and support enterprise planning solutions that reduce operating costs and improve supply chain performance
Lead the planning, design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment of advanced planning modules, including demand planning, supply network planning, and production planning capabilities
Provide production support for global planning and manufacturing operations, including integrations with Manufacturing Execution Systems and core ERP platforms
Configure and maintain master data, including bills of materials, resources, production data structures, location-product information, classifications, and batch-related structures
Develop and maintain interfaces between planning systems and core ERP using Core Interface, data services, and integration middleware
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance planning capabilities across global manufacturing sites
Create Functional Design Specifications and detailed documentation to support custom enhancements, business intelligence analytics, and performance improvements
Partner with Finance, Controlling, Materials Management, Production Planning, Quality Management, Security, Basis, Development, and Operations teams to resolve technical and process issues
Troubleshoot integration issues between planning systems and core ERP modules, including Materials Management, Production Planning, Sales and Distribution, and Finance and Controlling
Identify process improvement opportunities using new system functionalities and optimization methods
Research and apply system support notes and best practices to maintain system reliability and performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 8 years of hands-on configuration experience with advanced planning and optimization solutions or integrated business planning platforms
At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of advanced planning and optimization or integrated business planning solutions
Proven track record of supporting global planning and manufacturing operations
Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders
Hands-on configuration experience with advanced planning and optimization modules, including demand planning, supply network planning, production planning, and detailed scheduling
Experience with integrated business planning capabilities, including demand, supply, inventory, sales, and operations planning, and control tower functionalities
Expertise in statistical forecasting, supply network planning heuristics and optimization, detailed scheduling, supply heuristics, and inventory optimization
Strong understanding of Core Interface functionality and integration architecture
Proficiency with master data configuration, including bills of materials, resources, and production data structures
Knowledge of integration technologies, including data services and middleware platforms
Experience with business intelligence and analytics reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to create comprehensive functional design specifications and technical documentation
Understanding of manufacturing execution systems and their integration with planning solutions
Knowledge of Materials Management, Production Planning, Sales and Distribution, and Finance and Controlling modules
