Responsibilities

Oversee hotel revenue operations and strategic initiatives, including revenue assurance, pricing, billing, and inventory across multiple properties
Lead and coach the sales team in effective selling techniques to ensure individual sales goals are achieved
Make sales appointments and cold calls to prospect new accounts across all direct sales segments
Regularly contact existing accounts based on tracing frequencies to maintain strong relationships
Monitor production of top accounts and evaluate trends in your market, adjusting strategies as needed
Host clients for entertainment, lunches, tours, and site inspections to showcase our properties
Implement special promotions, such as sales blitzes, to drive direct sales and maximize revenue
Lead and participate in daily and weekly sales meetings to review strategies and progress
Ensure employees consistently provide attentive, friendly, and courteous service to guests and colleagues
Attend monthly all-employee meetings and other management functions as required
Handle inquiries as part of the Inquiry Day Program to generate new business leads
Meet and greet onsite contacts to foster relationships and ensure client satisfaction
Other duties as assigned

Required

5+ years of hotel sales leadership experience is required
Regional-level experience overseeing multiple hotels (including full-service) is required
Exposure across multiple hotels and brands. Experience with independent hotels and brands such as Hilton or Marriott are required
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2 to 4-year college degree is a plus
Must be proficient with Windows operating systems and sales software
Must have valid driver's license for applicable state and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
