Responsibilities
Inspect parts, systems, and airframe as part of routine scheduled maintenance
Perform diagnostic tests to determine necessary repairs
Repair defective or malfunctioning aircraft parts and systems
Troubleshoot and diagnose potential repairs outside of regularly scheduled maintenance
Be able to perform assigned tasks in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations and the Inspections Procedures Manual with little or no direct supervision
Have the minimum required tools to perform assigned work
Qualification
Required
A&P Certificate Required
Own and maintain sufficient hand tools to perform duties efficiently and effectively
Ability to live and work in the United States without any restrictions
Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and thereafter submit to DOT mandated random drug and alcohol testing
Must pass a background check including a government required fingerprint based criminal history records check
Valid state driver's license
Carries or can obtain a valid U.S. Passport for training purposes
Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge
Capability of lifting to 60 lbs
Willing and able to work different shifts consisting of nights, holidays, and weekends
Highly-qualified entry-level candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude
Computer skills to include MS Office, Crystal Reports, Corridor and CAMP
