Responsibilities
Manages and optimizes relationships with North American suppliers specializing in aftermarket aircraft components, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and performance expectations
Develops and implements procurement strategies to enhance supplier performance, minimize risks, and achieve cost savings in the aftermarket sector
Ensures availability of critical aftermarket components to support maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations
Acts as an escalation point for critical supplier issues and facilitates timely resolution
Collaborates with internal teams, including supply chain, engineering, finance, and MRO operations, to support business objectives
Leads cost-reduction initiatives and contributes to procurement process improvements
Negotiates supplier agreements to secure favorable pricing and contract terms for aftermarket components
Conducts supplier risk assessments and develops mitigation strategies
Ensures alignment with global supply chain strategies and corporate objectives
Travels domestically and internationally on short notice as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3 years in procurement or supply chain management, with experience in aftermarket aircraft components procurement preferred
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, particularly in the MRO and aftermarket sectors
Ability to leverage data and analytics for decision-making
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of procurement contract terms and conditions
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
Preferred
Experience in aftermarket aircraft components procurement preferred
