Meta is looking to hire a strategic and proactive individual to join our US Public Policy team focusing on White House and US Executive Branch engagement to advocate for policies that advance adoption of Meta’s public policy objectives. The role involves managing external consultant relationships, driving political contribution strategies, and ensuring alignment with business priorities while representing Meta in key stakeholder meetings.

Responsibilities

Identify, monitor, and analyze deeply complex U.S. policy issues affecting Meta at the Federal level
Articulate our policy positions in briefing papers, consultation responses and internal policy meetings
Advise Meta teams on public policy matters to guide development of products, services and policies
Represent Meta in meetings with key stakeholders
Communicate Meta’s positions in public presentations
Develop engagement plans with clear goals, timelines, and messaging
Influence and lead cross-functional collaboration across Policy, Communications, Legal, Product, Marketing teams and other internal partners
Identify high-impact opportunities to expand Meta’s political footprint and deepen relationships with elected officials and organizations

Required

12+ years of legal/public policy experience
Experience in U.S. domestic policy development/advocacy
Experience in technology and internet related policy issues
Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders
Experience working in political campaigns, legislative advocacy, PAC activities, corporate political affairs, or related fields
Demonstrated expertise in campaign finance law and compliance
Proven track record of building and scaling corporate PAC programs and political giving operations
Strong understanding of political strategy, project management, budget management, and compliance
Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Business or related field

Preferred

JD, MBA or MPP
Experience working on domestic legal/policy issues in the U.S. government
Experience working in the tech industry
Experience working with policy makers
