Responsibilities
Participates in functional and technical design reviews to ensure understanding of relevant business processes, technologies, and architectures
Creates or modifies test scenarios and test cases that are in alignment with functional requirements
Ensures appropriate test data is defined and available in the test environment
Executes and statuses test cases, including proof of testing
Clearly document defects, and retests fixes in a timely manner in required test management tool
Effectively communication progress and status to test lead/manager
Deliver quality work to meet the needs of application teams and business partners
Work in a collaborative project environment with cross-functional teams
Assists in driving issues to closure
Complete assignments on time in accordance with the priorities identified by the test lead
Qualification
Required
Understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain operations
Hands on experience in Warehouse Management System (WMS) testing, specifically Manhattan PKMS
Strong Understanding of warehouse inbound, outbound and inventory control processes
Familiarity with warehouse exception handling
Experience testing order release, shipping confirmation, inventory feeds, return processing interfaces between OMS and PKMS
Knowledge of PKMS batch jobs and screen flows
Experience validating integrations between PKMS and ERP system
Understanding of EDI flows and transportation system (TMS) for end-to-end validations
Ability to validate tables using basic SQL queries
Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
Experience working on projects with multiple teams and resources
Experience working in an onshore/offshore model
Experience with HP ALM, JIRA, or other test and defect management tools
Organizational and planning skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate and coordinate
Proactive participation in team environment
Strong documentation and communication skills
Takes pride in delivering quality work to meet the needs of clients and customers
Design and execution of test cases
Bug tracking
Hands on Experience on Manhattan PKMS, especially around inbound, outbound and inventory control
Prior Integration testing experience for Order and Inventory flows between OMS and WM as well as WM and ERP system
Understanding of different testing types like sprint test, smoke test, regression, end to end, integration etc
