Responsibilities
Assist machinist with post machining process following existing procedures
Assist machinist material precurment and preperation
Removing the micro burrs on milled and/or turned parts following existing procedures
Developing new procedures and techniques with the aid of machinists and engineers
Operating a heat treat furnace following existing processes and procedures
Inspect incoming parts for quality and adherence to part specifications
Other tasks as required
Be prepared to work overtime as business conditions require
Qualification
Required
Assist machinist with post machining process following existing procedures

Be prepared to work overtime as business conditions require
Ability to sit and look through a microscope for long periods of time
Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 pounds
Prolonged periods of standing and working with machinery
Detail oriented with the highest standards of quality
High dexterity to manipulate small objects
Excellent eye-hand coordination
Flexibility upon priority changes
Knowledge of machine processes a plus
Two years of experience in a similar role a plus
Willingness to question anything that does not make sense or may be in error
High School Diploma or Equivalent
