They are seeking an Exterior Design/Site Civil Intern to assist in various tasks related to site design, client meetings, and project research, while providing a flexible work environment and hands-on experience.
Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
Client meetings
Organizing charettes
Site design
Visiting construction sites to take photos
Going to a county office to record an easement
Doing desktop research
Making phone calls
Visiting prospective project sites to help determine constraints and opportunities for the Client
Helping layout a building, parking, playgrounds, and utilities for a new site in AutoCAD
Going with a Project Manager to a Client meeting to take notes and provide backup
Helping on a Habitat for Humanity home site
Helping plan and organize a company family outing
Qualification
Required
Currently seeking bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design or a related degree from an accredited program
Ability to jump in and do whatever might be required
Experience with Google Suites, Microsoft Office, Adobe (Creative Suite), AutoCAD, Civil 3D
Desire to make the places and projects you work on BETTER than when you started
Constant communication and curiosity
Problem solving skills and attention to detail
Highly motivated team player, excited to contribute meaningfully to a team
