Associate Compensation & Benefits Analyst

Kyocera International, Inc. is a global leader in advanced ceramic technologies, and they are seeking an Associate Compensation & Benefits Analyst at their San Diego, CA facility. This role is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of compensation and benefits programs while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and relevant laws.

Responsibilities

Provides immediate information for major strategic projects to a wide level of users (Executives, Manager, Vendor, etc.)
Working in concert with teams from all subsidiary companies recommends, proposes, negotiates approval, and implements policies, procedures, or programs in the areas of compensation, benefits. May adapt plans to accommodate different cultures, business practices, or customs. Works with subsidiary companies to ensure programs are current regarding trends, practices and costs
Communicate and interface with employees and benefit plan consultants, vendors, legal advisors, and administrators regarding benefit policies, plans, eligibility and coverage issues, and enrollment procedures
Have some relationships with HRIS software and hardware vendors and works with subsidiary companies to ensure the development of proper training and documentation for system use and maintenance
Establishes data tables, structures, files, interface requirements and data integrity protocols for ongoing administration
Develops drafts for budgetary plans
Oversees the specification, development, and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports and policies and procedures for internal use
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of high-quality material

Implements all HRIS based requirement for benefits, vendors, mass updates and performance management tools into HRIS
Provide support for our annual health insurance Open Enrollment, Merit, and Bonus programs
Provide support on the administration for our 401k plan and pension plan
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Required

Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
A minimum of 1+ years of related experience
Intermediate Knowledge of Excel and data analysis
Intermediate working knowledge of HRIS systems (UltiPro preferred)
