Responsibilities
Take care of our customers by listening to their needs, checking over their bikes and scheduling their repair
Build and repair a wide range of bikes—from brand-new race machines to well-worn daily commuters
Communicate with customers in person and via our digital system to provide repair updates
Maintain your workspace, tools, and tech station so everything’s clean, safe, and efficient
Learn and follow safety procedures for tools, equipment, and cleaning materials
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience as a professional Bicycle Mechanic
A quick learner with technical aptitude and great communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Comfortable working with your hands and using tools regularly
Physically up for it! Lifting bikes and moving around the store is part of the gig
Comfortable chatting with customers in person and on the phone
Capable of standing for long periods and performing repetitive motions
Motivated to succeed in a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment
Flexible and available to work weekends as needed
Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English
Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English
