Operations Readiness Lead (Continuing Improvement Analyst, Sr. Associate)

The Operations Readiness Lead will be responsible for building operational processes, standardizing work, and training within the Operations organization, while collaborating across various departments to ensure efficient execution.

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver training materials and hands-on training to operations personnel on processes, systems, and standard work
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and training effectiveness
Develop standards and benchmarks for program execution readiness
Enforce AS9100/ISO standards, collaborate with Quality Assurance, manage corrective actions, and ensure safety compliance
Performs administrative functions such as writing reports, managing expenditures, and resource forecasting
Mentor technicians, engineers, and quality personnel in best practices for manufacturing execution
Analyze and plan space requirements, workflow, design layout of equipment, workspace for maximum efficiency, safety, and EH&S requirements
Participate in early NPI involvement & new capabilities readiness
Manage, maintain and train on ERP systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 4+ years of experience or a Master's with 2+ years of experience
Extensive hands-on experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments
Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, material purchasing planning, and inventory control
Strong understanding of aerospace quality systems (AS9100, ISO 9001)
Familiarity with ERP systems, Lean Manufacturing, and process improvement
Strong mechanical aptitude, good fabrications skills, and general shop experience
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Preferred
Experience in RCCA methodology
Experience with public speaking and effective communicator
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to identify and implement best practices, continuous improvement initiatives and manage KPI's
Ability to travel – an average of 15% travel may be required. Most of the travel is local but some overnight travel may be required
