Overseeing all aspects of the Risk Management Program ensuring the bank is operated in a safe and sound manner
Ensuring the bank is in compliance with all banking laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures
Serves on the bank's Executive Committee, Leadership Council, ALCO and Risk Committee
Reports to the Board of Director's Audit & Risk Chairperson
Holding teams accountable for results
Fostering a culture of discipline
Ensuring alignment with organizational goals as outlined in the Traction framework
Creating vision and strategy
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
15+ years of banking experience
10+ years of leading, coaching and mentoring people effectively through change
Demonstrates strong leadership and management skills by holding teams accountable for results
Fostering a culture of discipline
Ensuring alignment with organizational goals as outlined in the Traction framework
Thorough knowledge of banking & experience with Enterprise Risk Management
Critical thinking skills and ability to create vision and strategy
