Responsibilities
Assist in designing and supporting data solutions for automation projects
Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand data requirements
Help interpret data models and extract insights from various source systems
Participate in testing, deployment, and maintenance of data pipelines and automation tools
Document processes and contribute to project deliverables
Learn and apply best practices in data engineering and automation
Stay informed on emerging technologies and tools relevant to data and automation
Support internal controls and ensure data integrity across systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, with or Master's degree
2+ years of experience in data engineering, automation, or software development
Familiarity with Python programming, java-scripts and SQL
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and data tools such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, etc
Understanding of ETL concepts and basic data pipeline design
Willingness to learn visualization tools like Quicksight, and Power-BI
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to grow in a collaborative environment
Preferred
Basic knowledge of Spark SQL, Iceberg, or Glue
Exposure to automation frameworks or workflow tools
Understanding of data warehousing concepts
Interest in business operations
