Project Coordinator (CPWE consortium)

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Project Coordinator to support clinical and operational workflows in a Child Psychiatry setting. Responsibilities

Ensures projects run smoothly by overseeing a workflow, evaluating the course of the project, and reporting its status to the management and stakeholders
Serves as primary point of contact for families to support medication orders and refill requests
Communicate with families regarding program questions and workflows
Maintains accurate medical documentation
Coordinates and organizes project activities to include training and data management
Collaborates closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely coordination
Tracks progress, identifies, and resolves obstacles
Provides status updates on the progress of the project
Serves as the project liaison between the various departments and stakeholders
Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
Performs all other duties as assigned

Required

General knowledge of medical office setting to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process
Solid organizational skills, including coordination, multi-tasking and time management
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Extensive knowledge of common Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project, Outlook, etc.)
Strong focus on quality assurance with attention to detail and ability to apply protocols
Ability to work independently to collect, research and organize data
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
Team-management and leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
Three (3) years of directly related experience is required

Preferred

Certificate as a Medical Assistant highly preferred
Active CPR/BLS
Active CMA or RMA
Bilingual in English and Spanish
