Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems, workflows, and user needs
Elicit, document, and analyze business and technical requirements
Conduct business process analysis and reengineering to identify improvement opportunities
Develop solution options, risk assessments, and cost/benefit or ROI analyses
Prepare detailed documentation, including business cases, planning documents, and functional specifications
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, program areas, and IT teams
Assess existing processes to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
Support initiatives to modernize referral systems and improve service coordination
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting applications or software development initiatives
Proven experience eliciting, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements
Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience writing business cases, planning documents, and functional specifications
Demonstrated success working with stakeholders to gather input, develop plans, and drive initiatives to completion
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Experience serving as a liaison between business teams and IT organizations
Background in business process analysis and reengineering
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Must currently reside in Texas; position is remote with potential future on-site requirements in Austin
Ability to pass a criminal background check and complete required state security agreements
