Responsibilities

Responsibility includes the sale of Emergency Response Service products throughout the specified sales region
The planning, implementation and evaluation process will utilize the combined efforts of the sales and marketing professionals to achieve sales and profit objectives
Review, evaluate, and assess our largest and most critical customer requirements
Manage and develop key customer relationships
Organize and manage prospect within the assigned sales region as subject matter expert for the sales of ERS products
Responsible for all sales within the assigned sales region
Coordinate sales effort with distributor network
Measured on total revenue, growth, and profitability
Strategically develop and implement a sales plan to achieve all targets set jointly by the Vice-President and Regional Director, ERS Division
Evaluate and implement strategies, tactics, activities, and sales results and propose corrective action as necessary to achieve approved objectives
Maintain regular communication and personal contact with field sales professionals, professional organizations, and customers to keep abreast of market trends and evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing activities
Identify and communicate information on market trends to help develop and recommend pricing, packaging changes, and product improvements
Consult with our largest customers and prospective customers in order to help them make decisions. Responsible for meeting with executive and administrative staff to solicit and gain support at the highest levels in the customer organization

Required

Bachelor's degree is preferred
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible capital equipment sales experience is required
Advanced knowledge of sales, account management, forecasting, marketing, and customer service
Excellent planning, organizational, and time and territory management skills
Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills
Knowledge in training, product knowledge, medical technology, technical support, and customer application support
In depth knowledge and understanding of how various customers accomplish patient care and how they procure equipment needed to provide the best patient care and outcome
Plan, develop, and implement long-range and short-range strategic sales plans and programs for new and existing products
Collaborate, communicate, and coordinate with other departments and disciplines
Evaluate and implement strategies, tactics, activities, and sales results
Maintain regular communication and personal contact with field sales professionals, professional organizations, and customers
Identify and communicate information on market trends
Consult with our largest customers and prospective customers
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to use various IT solutions including computers, tablets and smart phones
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Customer Resource Management software
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Prepare sales forecasts for in-line products
Meet monthly and annual sales forecast and objectives
Achieve budget/quota through the sale of new product placement, the growth of Ferno-Washington portfolio in current customers and the retention of current accounts
Design, develop, and implement account and territory business plans to maintain and grow business in new and existing Ferno-Washington accounts
Ability to position Ferno-Washington as a business partner in providing medical solutions to the ERS industry
Develop strong professional relationships with all levels of decision-makers in customer accounts
Develop sales plans for the relevant market segment and maximize cost effectiveness of direct communication and marketing expenses with budget guidelines
Must regularly lift, bend, operate and load stretchers with a maximum weight of 250 pounds
Appropriate footwear must be worn to perform the physical demands of the job
