Responsibilities

Final Airworthiness Inspections: Inspect aircraft and components to ensure compliance with Textron Aviation Quality standards and FAA regulations for return to service
Quality & Compliance Oversight: Review inspection records, reports, and documentation for accuracy and adherence to RII, Part 135, and internal quality standards
Tooling & Equipment Verification: Perform periodic checks and calibrations on precision tools and test equipment to meet FAA and OEM specifications
Material & Parts Control: Inspect and accept incoming parts and supplies, ensure proper tagging and traceability, and prevent installation of unairworthy components
Technical Documentation & Resources: Use OEM manuals, wiring diagrams, structural repair manuals, and MELs to guide inspections and maintenance procedures
Aircraft Walkarounds & Safety Checks: Conduct regular aircraft walkarounds to verify form usage, identify hazards, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment

Required

A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
An A & P License is required
Ability to use arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications is needed
A knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principle and mechanical systems is needed
At least 3 years diversified A & P mechanic experience on jet and turboprop 100 hour and annual service experience is required
Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable is needed
