Responsibilities
Work with Practice Group leaders in the development of strategic business development goals for the Practice as a whole
Drive the development and execution of all branding, marketing and business development-related initiatives for the Practice Group, including individual attorneys in the Practice Group
Use existing relationships and continue to expand media and journalistic relationships to identify and expand media opportunities
Understand and support all aspects of the pitch process, including utilizing competitive intelligence
Maintain client pitch materials, attorney bios, practice descriptions, and other promotional and collateral materials
Work with individual members of the Practice Group in the creation and implementation of independent business development plans, speaking engagements, writing opportunities, client development seminars, firm-sponsored events, and conferences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, press relations or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Demonstrated experience with branding professional services and driving business development success in a professional services or policy firm
Experience interacting with General Counsels, C-Suite Executives, and comparable level attorneys and executives; law degree a plus
Demonstrated ability to positively and proactively manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting and with other operational departments
