Responsibilities
Support and help redesign identity lifecycle processes across AD, Entra ID, and enterprise systems
Assist in restructuring OUs, GPOs, group models, service accounts, and delegated permissions
Troubleshoot authentication, access, and identity-related failures
Support Windows Server, Azure VMs, hybrid services, and core infrastructure components
Assist with server patching, monitoring, backup verification, and scheduled maintenance
Participate in system modernization projects — consolidation, migrations, or refactoring legacy systems
Manage mailboxes, Teams/SharePoint permissions, and common M365 administration tasks
Assist with cleanup, reorganizing, or reconfiguring misaligned M365 structures under architectural guidance
Support everyday issues escalated from the Service Desk
Support key internal platforms such as: Podio, TeamDynamix, Zoom / SSO-connected apps, Line-of-business SaaS tools
Participate in designing better integration, workflows, or permission models for these platforms
Support virtualization platform tasks (VM builds, template maintenance, snapshots, disk expansion, etc.)
Assist with on-prem systems such as backup platforms, file servers, printers, and on-site hardware
Participate in physical infra tasks: racking hardware, validating power/cooling, asset maintenance
Providing input to system redesigns and migrations
Building configuration prototypes, pilots, or proofs-of-concept
Executing architectural direction
Helping document current vs. future state diagrams and runbooks
Write or maintain PowerShell scripts to streamline system tasks, reporting, or data hygiene
Update infrastructure documentation, diagrams, identity maps, and topology maps
Suggest improvements to workflows, provisioning paths, and cross-system integrations
Qualification
Required
2+ years IT experience in systems or support roles
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365
Understanding of identity/auth concepts (MFA, SSO, groups, permissions)
Experience supporting enterprise applications or cloud-based services
Ability to write or modify scripts in PowerShell
Strong troubleshooting and documentation habits
Preferred
Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, or Azure)
Exposure to automation workflows or API integrations
Experience with SaaS platforms and role-based access modeling
Certifications: Network+, Security+, MCSA, MS-102, AZ-900, etc
Familiarity with basic ITIL or ticket routing logic
