Grant Accountant

Responsibilities

Ensure expenditures align with federal, state, or private grantor regulations
Prepare detailed financial reports, invoices, and expense analyses for grantors
Assist program managers in creating, monitoring, and revising grant budgets
Reconcile grant accounts to the general ledger, manage accounts payable/receivable for grants, and handle month-end closing procedures
Coordinate, prepare, and maintain documentation for annual or special audits

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience with non-profit or government accounting, particularly with grant management (e.g., Uniform Guidance)

Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage complex, multiple projects simultaneously
