Responsibilities
Provide support and guidance to project managers for facilities-related projects, from concept through completion, including planning, design, construction, and closeout phases
Direct and coordinate teams, including internal staff and external vendors such as architects, engineers, and project managers
Serve as a primary point of contact for government clients, ensuring projects align with clients’ technical, schedule, budget, and quality requirements
Oversee development, management, and monitoring of project scopes, schedules, and budgets to achieve program objectives and financial targets
Oversee design and construction efforts, ensuring they comply with applicable codes, standards, and government requirements
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
Support proposal development, task planning, and client engagement efforts related to facilities and infrastructure work
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project staff while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field
At least 7 years of experience managing and leading facilities, construction, facility management, or design-related projects and teams
At least 3 years of program management leadership for government consulting projects
Strong knowledge of project management principles, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality control
Experience coordinating with multiple interested parties, including clients, designers, engineers, and contractors
Must currently hold or be able to obtain a DoD Secret-level security clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen, as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
Preferred
Experience in program management leadership for DoD projects is strongly preferred, though experience with other federal agencies will be considered
At least 3 years of experience with DoD processes, standards, and regulations
Experience using BIM tools and project management software
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
